Baked yellow squash (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Select tender, fresh squash. Slice in half lengthwise.
- Brush cut sides with oil and dip cut side in flaked yeast.
- Sprinkle lightly with salt and onion powder.
- Drizzle oil on top.
- Lay cut squash side by side on a baking sheet and bakeat 375 degrees until golden brown (about 20 minutes). May be put under broiler if browner top is desired.
