Lime-cilantro grilled steak (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Combine lime juice, cilantro, water, jalapev o pepper, garlic and cumin and pour into a large zip-top plastic bag.
  2. Add steaks, seal and shake bag to coat meat.
  3. Let marinate in refrigerator 1-2 hours,shaking bag every now and then.
  4. Toss marinade when ready to grill steaks.
  5. Grill steaks over medium heated (preheated) until cooked to your liking, turning once (about 15-20 minutes for rare to medium).
  6. Once cooked, season to taste with salt and pepper.
  7. Carve steaks into thin slices and serve
