Savory egg and cheddar bake (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray bottom of 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Brown and crumble sausage in a frying pan until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Place in bottom of 13x9 baking dish, lightly pressing into place.
- Saute red and green peppers and onion until tender. Layer vegetable mixture then cheese on top of the sausage in baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, garlic powder, and pepper. Pour egg mixture over contents of baking dish.
- Bakefor 30-35 minutes. Cool slightly, cut into wedges
