Cowboy french toast breakfast sandwich (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Prepare the French toast according to package directions. Set aside.
  2. Stir together eggs and milk.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; add egg mixture, and cook, stirring constantly, until soft scrambled.
  4. Place 3 French toast slices on a baking sheet; top evenly with bacon, scrambled eggs, salsa, and cheese.
  5. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with remaining French toast slices, pressing down gently on sandwiches.
  7. Bakeat 375 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes.
