Alyce's perfectly simple roast chicken (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Shake flour in the oven roasting bag.
- Place half the celery and onion in the bag.
- Brush the chicken with oil and sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper on all sides.
- Place chicken and remaining celery and onion in roasting bag.
- Seal the bag and cut 4 small holes in top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
- Place in a baking pan and bakefor 1 1/4 hours or until done (180 degress for bone-in chicken).
- Let rest for 5 min before serving.
