Alyce's perfectly simple roast chicken (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Shake flour in the oven roasting bag.
  3. Place half the celery and onion in the bag.
  4. Brush the chicken with oil and sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper on all sides.
  5. Place chicken and remaining celery and onion in roasting bag.
  6. Seal the bag and cut 4 small holes in top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
  7. Place in a baking pan and bakefor 1 1/4 hours or until done (180 degress for bone-in chicken).
  8. Let rest for 5 min before serving.
