Baked thyme and lemon chicken (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Place 1/4 of the chopped leeks onto a square of baking paper. Place 1 chicken breast on top.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, place thyme sprig and lemon on top. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Wrap chicken breast in baking paper to create a parcel. Repeat with remaining 3 chicken breasts.
  4. Place on a baking tray and bakein a pre heated 180 8C over for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Serve with steamed beans, broccoli and asparagus with a light chicken gravy.
