Spiced roast chicken breast (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of 0-1 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Preheat Oven to 450 degrees.
- Pat chicken dry.
- Mix together your spices along with 1 1/2 tsp of the oil.
- Rub spice mixture over chicken.
- Heat the remaining oil in a heavy ovenproof skillet over moderately high heat.
- Brown chicken on both sides (approximately 5 minutes).
- Transfer the skillet to the middle of the over and roast chicken 16-18 minutes.
- Transfer chicken to a clean plate.
- Add water to the pan and de-glaze over high heat, scraping up brown bits.
- Pour pan juices over chicken (or rice if served as a side)
