Chicken mince mousse (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until blended. The mixture should not be too runny so add half the cream at first, until the right consistency is reached.
- Using clingwrap, place about 3 - 4 tablespoons of the mixture in the middle, wrap it up forming a sausage shape. Tie a knot in the clingwrap on either side of the sausage, making sure that it is quite firm. Continue until you have used up all the mixture.
- Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil and carefully place the sausage shapes in the water. Poach for about 20 minutes.
-
Remove from water and remove wrap. Serve with vegetables. Cheese sauce goes great with the chicken.
